What can happen when we invite singers to sing in Icelandic, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish? Will these singers feel their Nordic roots or wish for them? Will they melt with the lush harmonies? Will they sense a bit of the Nordic nature through the music?
We hypothesize that these guests in our midst will not only enjoy the humor and occasional zaniness of rehearsals, fall in love with this music, but also become a little bit Nordic. We hypothesize that so enamored by their experience, they will almost (but not quite) wish for darker winters so that the summer feels like a bit of paradise.
